Over the last 20 years I have had the chance to explore a wide range of roles within the music industry, both technical and performance-based. Base in London for the last decade, I have honed my focus on Sound Engineering, Audio Editing and Music Production. These are areas where I feel most at home creatively and technically, allowing me to bring together my versatility, enthusiasm and professionalism, whether working in a live environment or crafting in the studio.

Re-visiting higher education as a mature student was a big turning point for me, both for my professional and personal development. Earning a first-class BA (Hons) in Music Production and Sound Engineering at Point Blank Music School gave me the space to refocus my creative direction.

As a Sound Engineer, I regularly work with Soho House, Sofar Sounds and Big Penny Social. I’ve mixed, assisted and handled full setups/de-rigs, for a huge variety of events. I experience everything from corporate shows to jazz bands, comedy nights to classical concerts, DJs, comedians, live podcasts and streamed meetings. Recent clients include Chanel, Warner Music, Swarovski, Mas Tiempo, HH Global, Professor Green and Matthew Williamson. I am confident working across the full spectrum of industry-standard digital and analog consoles, PA systems, DJ equipment and lighting.

On the Audio Editing side, I produced all audio/visual/content/stratgey for the ‘Have You Got Your Sh*t Together?’ podcast for the prolific poet Caitlin O’Ryan. I currently edit the ‘Empty Plates’ podcast for Anjli Vyas. Regular tasks within this realm include audio production, editing, delivery, social media assets and broader content strategy.

I have also have success from several creative editing roles in the past, which include the OFFIE-nominated, Sarah Myott-Meadows produced, radio theatre project ‘Props’ with Documental Theatre Company. Also notable work producing multimedia branding content for ‘Gaby Pimentel’s Quaran-tin Workout’ who received a British Empire Medal for our work.

Bringing together my experience across sound design, production and editing, I worked on ‘Trust: Part 3’. A London-based short TV series on Amazon Prime, where I handled both dialogue editing and foley. It was a project that really allowed me to draw on the full breadth of my technical and creative skill set.

Alongside my post-production work, I’m also collaborating with several singer-songwriters — including Cyan and Mulimba — writing contemporary pop, electronic tracks, and music aimed for pitching to publishers. My goal is to develop a body of work that supports securing a publishing deal, giving me the freedom to focus on composition as a long-term creative path.

I work confidently across a wide range of creative and technical software, including Ableton Live, Pro Tools and an extensive collection of audio and design tools such as Universal Audio, Waves, Soundtoys, Native Instruments and the Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Photoshop). I’m equally at ease with collaborative platforms like Google Docs and Microsoft Office, which support the organisational side of my work.

Alongside my professional projects, I’m also developing an album under my alias Manakin, shaped by personal experiences of grief. The sound world of this project is built from field recordings, sound design, analogue sources and immersive 3D mixing techniques. The album focus is designed to be performed live, bringing together my technical and creative roles in a hybrid electronic setup that incorporating networked clock-based performance systems.

I’m actively seeking new work opportunities to enrich my week and continue expanding my skill set. I am especially eager to take on more roles within orchestral and corporate sound engineering — areas where I feel I can grow, contribute, and deepen my craft even further.
